Our objective
In recent years, waste collection and processing has developed into a major industry, so that we no longer speak of waste processing but of waste management. Omrin is active throughout the entire chain of waste management. In other words, from the collection of household waste, building, demolition and industrial waste and the cleaning of public areas to the recycling of waste into raw materials for various production processes. However, our primary task is to prevent the production of waste as much as possible. Alongside this preventative task, Omrin also has an executive task, since there will always be waste. This is why we have to collect, treat and process waste in a practical, environmentally hygienic manner. During these activities a healthy and safe working and living environment must be guaranteed.
Waste keeps us occupied
The national objective for the useful application of waste has been set at 60%. In view of the fact that Omrin has already almost achieved this percentage, we have set ourselves the goal of an 80% reuse. You can read more about four important issues at Omrin below.
